MINISTRIES ON THE MOVE

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Every Sunday at 9:45 am is a special time of learning for the whole family.

The Adult class has four anointed teachers bringing the Word of God. They alternate weekly. You will truly be blessed as you sit under these ministries.
The Trailblazers is a class for teenagers where these young people are taught how to have their own relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Onward Christian Soldiers is a class for 5 to 9 year olds where a foundation of Christ is being laid in the young children, preparing them for growing up in the Lord.
Kingdom Kids is a class for toddlers ages 2 - 4 introducing God's little lambs to Bible basics through stories and song.
Nursery is provided during all services.

As the need arises, we will be increasing our Sunday school classes.

PRAYER MINISTRY

We have three different prayer ministries.

Every Wednesday morning at 10:30 am is a special time of teaching and a time of prayer at the church. This is a designated time of intercession for the church.
Ten minutes before service begins on Thursday night and Sunday morning, the ladies and men each meet privately. At this appointed time prayer is offered up before the service according to the Lord’s instructions.
We have a ministry of prayer intercessors. The spirit has anointed these intercessors on behalf of the local body believers. God is increasing in this realm of prayer.

Daughters of Zion

Ladies meet the first Wednesday of every month, 7:30 p.m., at the church. This ministry is for the raising up of women in the Kingdom of God, teaching how to find and keep their relationship with the Lord and growing up matured in the Lord. You will be blessed as the Spirit of the Lord opens the scripture concerning women in the Kingdom.

Champions of Faith

This single adult group meets every 4 to 6 weeks in different homes and locations. This is a time for adult singles over the age of 50 to come together in fellowship. A potluck dinner, music and a time in the Word highlight this ministry. Picnics and outdoor events are just some of the other activities that the Champions of Faith plan and participate in. You will find a friendship spirit birthed in God’s love, souls are being knitted and hearts encouraged through this ministry.

Mountain Climbers

Single adult Christians gather monthly for fellowship. This ministry focuses on living “single” as a Christian. And how the benefits, the struggles and the challenges of the “single life” whether spiritually, emotionally, or physically are met through the Word of God. Singles are taught how to climb or “walk through” various tests through Christ within them. Christ Himself lived a single life. Mountain Climber’s meetings are once a month. They enjoy going different and exciting places, or they may sometimes meet over coffee and doughnuts. Meeting times are announced monthly.

Wordfest

This ministry has the ladies and the men meeting on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. The ladies meet in a designated home, while the men meet at the church. This informal time of discussing the Word has produced a love and unity from the Lord. It is a time of “breaking down” the Word that has been taught during the month, learning how each one is applying the Word, and the results of “Spiritual Fruit” that is being produced. You will truly enjoy the liberty of giving and receiving spiritual help.

Vessels of Honour

The primary purpose of this ministry is to break down the Word that is given in the Friday and Sunday services. Anyone is welcome to come and hear the Word explained and how to live the Truth of the Kingdom. Ministry tapes from the services are used. Much edification and encouragement always abounds in this ministry. Bring your Bible, pen and notebook for you will gain understanding of the Kingdom within. Currently this ministry meets at 10:00 a.m. every Monday.

Prison Ministry

The Prison ministry is part of the Compassion Ministry outreach of the Florida Lighthouse Tabernacle. The goal of the Prison Ministry is 2-fold. First, it is to set people free and have their lives be a positive impact on others around them and not return to jail. Secondarily, and for those who have been set free to follow where we go both physically and spiritually. The Prison Ministry ministers at the Hernando County Jail once a week.

Generation in Christ
Ages 10-18 years old

Generation in Christ meets the first Friday evening of the month from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the church. This is a time of music ministry as well as manners and etiquette cultivating the praise and worship that is already in our young people. The group of 10 years old to 18 years old truly loves this time with their leader. Their talent will be cultivated and pruned as the Spirit of the Lord releases His praise within them.

Youth Group
Ages 13-19 years old

This is the primary Youth ministry for teenagers from ages 13-19 in the church. The main purpose is preparing the youth for young adult living. There is open interaction between youth and leaders. This sets an atmosphere of being able to express openly their areas of successes and areas where help is needed. Also, there is continual development in praise and worship. Above all, they are taught how to develop spiritual growth in Christ. This ministry is vital in raising up the church of today and tomorrow. They meet from 6:10-7:10 p.m. every Friday at the church.

Kingdom Seekers
Ages 9-12 years old

Currently meeting once a week on Friday evening from 6:10-7:10 p.m. This preteen ministry for ages 9-12 year old is for boys and girls. Basic understanding of salvation is taught and how to apply the Word through the Holy Spirit. Foundation truth of Christianity is broken down where these young believers can grow in Christ.

Children of Light
Ages 5-8 years old

Currently meeting once a week on Friday evening from 6:10-7:10 p.m. This elementary age ministry will spiritually meet the needs for children ages 5-8 years old and is for both boys and girls. Basic understanding of salvation is taught and how to apply the Word through the Holy Spirit. Foundation truth of Christianity is broken down where these young believers can grow in Christ.

Sons of David
Boys 6-12 years old

This is a ministry for young boys between the ages of 6-12. They meet the fourth Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. This group of boys are taught basic Christian truths through stories from the Bible. We focus on characteristics such as honesty, obedience, respect and integrity. In addition, hands-on training in mechanics, carpentry and other trades are taught. Basic use of mechanical tools and reading measuring devices are included as well as the participation in different sports, which develops interaction.

Daughters of the King
Girls 6-12 years old

The Daughters of the King meet once a month on the second Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. This is a ministry for young girls between the ages of 6-12. They are taught basic Christian truths through stories from the Bible. We focus on characteristics such as honesty, obedience, respect and integrity. In addition, there will be hands-on training in basic home economics and crafts. These young ladies will also be encouraged and instructed on how to choose and ready themselves for a real life career.
